First time I've been there was today for lunch. Old school greasy diner! One of the best, most flavorful burgers I've found in the area! It was very good. It's not fast food, so be prepared. Worth it

Not the worst taco salad I ever had, but in the top 3. The burgers and such might have been a safer choice, but no one At our table seemed any happier than I was. Nice staff, though.

Busy Bee Cafe doesn't do anything by halfs. Their staff is fantastic and friendly, making sure to check in, even when the house is packed and the food takes just a little bit longer. It's completely worth it, home cooking at an unbelievable value, and the portions should satisfy even a mighty hunger. No guessing when it comes to what they put in their food, they're happy to find out the information to avoid disappointment or possible food allergy issues. I really dig the Farm Burger, which sounds like exactly what you'd expect: ham, bacon and burger, with a fried egg on top. Breakfast all day means omelettes and pancakes and all kinds of things smothered in country gravy, but don't overlook their soups. There's a care there for an item so often regulated to a side that stands on its own as a meal. Additionally, they make a cocoa with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles that is rich but not overpowering, a fine drink on cold days. If you're in Springfield, give them a try.
